法華経の不軽品には、「私は深くあなた達のことを敬う」とあり、
これを内薫外護と呼ぶのである。

Interpretation (liberal translation)
Buddhism is inherent in every person's life.
Just as the fragrance permeated into the cloth gives off the fragrance, Buddha nature is emitted from within life, and the life ambivalence is disappears. and, the Buddhism of one's self becomes visible as a proof of physical and verbal behavior.
At this time, the behaviors and various proofs of the people around us, who are closely related to Buddhism, also help to bring out the infinite possibilities of Buddhism.
And the work of protecting yourself and those related to you becomes apparent.
This is called of Buddhism word "NaiKun - GeGo" [内薫 - 外護 ],
It is meaning "The Fragrance from inside, and The Protection from Outside."
Even if it's learned about by no one, the fact which moved for a person and functioned hides, but the life of the oneself is made abundant and sympathetic nature is opened, and it's virtue such as behavior and the surrounding help and is being discovered.
